How to configure your Email account in Windows 8 Mail

1) On the Start screen tap/click the Mail icon

2) Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings Settings(If you’re using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Settings Settings)

3) Tap/Click Accounts

4) Tap/Click Add an account

5) Tap/Click Other Account

6) Enter the below configuration setting

  • Email Address:  support@yourdomainname.com
  • Username:  support@yourdomainname.com
  • Password: The password you use to login to your Email account
  • Incoming email server
  •                                For IMAP configuration
  •                                             mail.yourdomainname.com and Port: 143
  •                                For POP3 Configuration
  •                                             mail.yourdomainname.com and Port: 110
  • Incoming server requires SSL: Not Checked
  • Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.yourdomainname.com
  • Port: 25
  • Outgoing server requires SSL: Not Checked
  • Outgoing server requires authentication: Must be selected
  • Use the same username and password to send and receive email: Must be selected
